Highlights:
Provincial results for 2008/2009 on the Accountability Pillar indicators show Alberta K-12 education system is performing well in many areas.
- Significant improvement on all satisfaction measures, based on surveys of all teachers, students in grades 4, 7 and 10 and their parents.
- Significant improvement on Provincial Achievement Tests (all subjects and grades combined) at both the acceptable standard and the standard of excellence reversing a decline in recent years at the acceptable standard.
- Significant improvement for the high school to post-secondary transition rate.
