For today's children and youth, technology is part of their world.  Technology is used to live, learn, work and play.  Students have more access to more technologies than ever before, including computers, smart phones, portable media players, e-readers and so on.  More students, parents and teachers expect technology to be available and used effectively to support learning and teaching.
