Current Capital Projects
Alberta Education and Alberta Infrastructure work together with school jurisdictions to provide Alberta's Kindergarten to Grade 12 students with suitable school facilities. Government’s current investment in school infrastructure includes funding for 76 projects in various stages of completion.
Education spending on school infrastructure is over $362 million for the 2012/2013 fiscal year and more than $1 billion for the next three years.
Government is committed to exploring funding options to address the need for new schools and maintain our existing learning environments.
