Collaboration
An inclusive education system is best realized in a collaborative manner. This is reflected by shared leadership between the Government of Alberta and its partners and the relationship between school, home and family. Schools reflect the attitudes, beliefs and health of the communities they serve and must be equipped to reflect inclusive practice. Examples of cross-government work that area collaborative and support the intent of an inclusive education system include:
- Alberta’s approach to collaborative practices based on wraparound principles
- Success in School for Children and Youth in Care
- Collaborating with Parents
