Provincial Microsoft License Update
The Ministry of Education has renewed the Provincial Microsoft License (PML) agreement for Microsoft Office for another three-year term. Under this agreement, all K-12 school authorities, including Francophone regional authorities, charter schools, publicly funded private schools, and early childhood service (ECS) providers will have continued access to Microsoft Office licensing, at no cost to them.
As part of the PML, employees of schools and school authorities can participate in the Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP). This program enables employees to purchase a single licensed copy of the Microsoft Office Suite to install and use on their home computer during the term of their employment or until May 31, 2013.
As part of the Provincial Microsoft Office License Agreement (PML), employees can also participate in the Home Use Program (HUP) for Office, E-Learning opportunities, and access E-Learning Essentials for Educators.
>> Further information on the enhanced benefits of the PML is available here.
