AISI: improving student learning
AISI Update
In order to build upon and continue the legacy of 12 + years of AISI, the AISI Network online community of inquiry has a new look and focus. Guided by Inspiring Education, we have re-launched AISI Network as a new open online learning community for Alberta educators (including preservice teachers) under the name “Inspired Learning” with a new url (http://inspiredlearning.ca/) while maintaining all the work of the AISI Network. Our blog and twitter account have also received the Inspiring Learning treatment. Follow us at #inspiredlrn.
The good news is that current community members will not need to do anything to join the community, blog or Twitter account. If you are already a member/follower now, you will still be after the re-launch. The even better news is that you can now invite all your friends and colleagues to join too. The focus will be on supporting implementation of the transformational agenda of Inspiring Education through connected learning and creating/sharing of best practices. Help spread the news, and invite your friends to join as well. (http://inspiredlearning.ca/).
A final issue of The Scoop is planned for this year (May/June) and we are actively seeking participants to share stories of the impact that AISI has had on teaching and learning. If you would like to submit your story, please connect with Kelly Johnson by May 7th, 2013 via email or call 780-422-3256. For others who want to share their stories of AISI inspired learning, you can also do so in the online community of inquiry.
