FA Program Supports
Alberta Education selects and authorizes instructional materials to support the implementation of approved programs of study.
Authorization indicates that the resources meet Alberta Education’s evaluation criteria. However, the use of authorized resources is not mandatory for program delivery. The decision to use provincially authorized resources is at the discretion of the teacher and the principal, in alignment with policies set by their school authority.
