The File Exchange system allows people to upload files to Alberta Education securely.
Q: How do I upload files?
A: Scroll down on the page and click the + ADD FILES button. You may also drag and drop files from your computer onto this web page. Files will begin uploading immediately.
Q: How do I know that my files have been uploaded?
A: The files that you have selected from your computer or device will appear in a list underneath the Add Files button. A small green check mark will appear, along with the date and time the file was uploaded.
Q: What if there is an error shown beside the file in red?
A: The file was not uploaded. Confirm that the file is not too large, and also is of a supported file type. Refresh the web page and try to add the missing files again.
Q: When I upload my files, where do they go?
A: Your files will be transfered securely to Alberta Education where they will remain until retrieved by staff for processing. Once Alberta Education staff retrieve your files for processing they will no longer appear on this site.
Q: Why am I getting an "Access Denied" error?
A: Access Denied can appear if you are not using the correct URL. If the link you followed to this site is incorrect please report this to our help desk (see below) so we may correct the problem.
Q: Why am I getting "Temporary Error"?
A: This error means that the web site itself is having a problem. Please try to refresh the page. If the error continues it is a system problem and we would appreciate if you could inform the Help Desk (see below) so that we can resolve the error.
