Alberta's math programs require that students can not only add, subtract, multiply and divide, but that they also know how to reason and solve problems in real-life situations.
The Kindergarten to Grade 6 (K-6) math programs were developed in collaboration with post-secondary institutions, teachers, administrators, and parents, and they are aligned with the most up-to-date research into the teaching and learning of math.
