home exercise program -
Outcome B (7-9)-6,7,& 8
Create
a take-home exercise program with your students. Give them a form
to take home that has the following categories;
Minutes of exercise
Time of day
Weather conditions
Fitness activities (Did the activity you picked concentrate on cardiorespiratory
capacity, endurance, strength or flexibility?)
How you felt - before? After? How did you sleep? Did it affect your
ability to relax?
Or
use the form from the Canadian
Active Living Challenge, provided here by the Canadian Association
for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
Keep
track over a period of a week or month. During that time, when you're
feeling stressed, try engaging in physical activity to release the
tension. Did it work? Here is a list
of activities.
