In order to test out the beta version, teachers will need to create a Provincial Education Directory (PED) account and sign into new LearnAlberta to access these tools.
Historically, only teachers working with the SLA required this account so this will be a new account for the majority of teachers. To make this experience as efficient as possible, we highly recommend that principals set up the New LearnAlberta account for their teachers:

Please follow the process on page 15 to add a new teacher(s) from your team and assign the ”LearnAlberta Teacher” role and/or the process on page 18 to assign the ”LearnAlberta Teacher” role to an existing teacher(s) from your team.
