Well being: it's been the buzz word of the last decade, right up there with holistic. But it is an important health benefit that results from physical activity. A sense of emotional, mental and physical well being is as important as the physical skill of dunking a basketball, or clearing a hurdle. Building a toolbox of options for maintaining or improving a sense of well being will benefit your students right through their adult years. Now is a great time to start laying the foundation for habits that will support your student's mental, emotional and physical health through activity. Creating a desire to be physically active in children can lay a great foundation for long term health.
