A
Skill a Day Keeps the Doctor Away
One of your goals with this dimension of movement is to learn to adapt
your physical skills to a variety of environments. You'll be learning:
- basic physical skills,
- how to apply these
skills.
These skills will add
up to you performing better, having more fun, and being less likely

A Wide, Wild World of Activities
There's a wild world
of activities to choose from under the heading of alternative environments
because you're using the outdoors as your playing field. You
can embark on an outbound journey or simply head out your own back door
as you participate in activities like walking, camping, cycling, wall
climbing, in-line skating or snowboarding, just to name a few. Just remember
that you'll need to choose a variety of activities to complete the course.
Also, if you're involved in
community programs that include activities from within this dimension,
remember that no more than 40 hours can be credited to your work in the
dimension. You're aiming for a variety of experiences in physical education.
You need to complete at least seven hours of activity in this dimension.
