of Greeting - Outcome A (K-3)-9
Teach children the steps
to the "Dance of Greeting". The children stand in a circle facing
the center.
Action:
- Clap, clap, bow. Repeat - clap, clap,
bow.
- Stamp, stamp, turn yourself around.
- Repeat all of the above and run counter-clockwise
in a circle. Turn and run back clockwise in time to the music.
- Repeat the dance.
Have the children make up other actions in a pattern
to match the music.
Arrange the children in two or three smaller circles
rather than just one.
This dance can be done as a partner circle dance.
